In August, we proudly opened our 11th cafe in Mainland China at the historic West Bund Dream Center in Shanghai.
Set on the site of the former Shanghai Cement Factory, once the largest in Asia, the cafe merges the city’s industrial past with the natural beauty of the riverside.
Designed by the acclaimed Atelier tao+c, the space features elegant parasol-shaped structures, offering a serene, welcoming atmosphere. With thoughtful nods to the site’s rich heritage, the cafe embodies a perfect balance of history, innovation, and warmth.

On August 16, we proudly opened our 10th cafe in the Chinese mainland, located at Shenzhen Mixc. Set in the historically rich Luohu District, the cafe lives amid the city’s natural beauty.
Designed in collaboration with LA-based studio , the space blends modern culture with the essence of Luohu, featuring olive tones, lotus-like glass tables, and subtle curves inspired by the local lakes and mountains. Every detail — from the mist-like curtains to the mountain-inspired seating — creates a serene escape within the bustling city.
Stop in to try two new menu items, our Chocolate Matcha Chiffon Cake and Coffee Jelly Panna Cotta, and a delicious pour over.

What sets our chai apart? It’s made with our custom blend of thoughtfully sourced Ethiopian spices.
Over the years, chai has been our most requested drink, but we weren’t willing to bring it to our cafes until we were sure it would live up to the same quality we hold our coffees to. Thus began years of sourcing and tasting and creating, all leading to this Chai Latte. We hope you love it.

Our ready-to-drink Iced NOLA Carton has a fresh new look (and same great coffee and chicory profile).
Each carton is blended with organic milk, cane sugar, and roasted chicory. Grab one to go in cafes or spot them in the cold case at Whole Foods nationwide and at Sprouts, Bristol Farms, Gelson’s, and Nugget in California.
